South Korean Rapper, Jessi held her very first solo concert in Manila at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last September 30, 2022, and captured the hearts of Filipino Jebbies!
That night marked her very first solo concert in her career as well in Manila. As she took the big stage, the venue was filled with cheers and lightsticks by Filipino Jebbies. She performed her 2022 hit song, “What Type Of X“.
It was clearly seen in her eyes how happy she was as fans sang along with her. She even encouraged the crowd to dance as well.
After her introduction stage, she performed “Don’t Touch Me” followed by “Put In On Ya.”
Jessi then greeted her Filipino Jebbies, “Thank you all for waiting patiently. Thank you for loving (me) Jessi. I love you guys so much.” She couldn’t help to be emotional on stage with the overwhelming love, support, and cheers she is receiving from her Filipino fans.
Next up, “Ganji“. The talented Jessi gave P Nation, her former agency, and PSY a shoutout before she belted out the lyrics.
Jessi delivered a heartfelt performance of “Numb” from her extended play Nuna which was released in 2020. She mentioned that this song has a special place in her heart as it’s one of her favorites and one of the hardest to sing.
In between the performance of her 2019 track, “Arrived“, she reminded her fans how valuable they are. She gave words of encouragement that touched many hearts such as “You got this.”, “Wear (whatever) you want.”
Jessi then performed the following songs her hit tracks “Boing“, “Gucci“, “Who Dat B“, “Down” and “Wet”, which had the fans vibing and singing along.
Next up, “Spirit Animal,” featured her solid rapping and invited the A-Team (one of the Philippines’ best dancers in the country) to perform with her on stage, followed by “Drip.”
Jessi got emotional while performing “Star,” with the song’s lyrics as this is the story about her journey to stardom.
She thanked PH Jebbies for making the concert possible. “Like I said, it took me 18 years. As a solo artist, they told me this is the first time that many tickets were sold out. I’m so blessed and I’m so thankful. Today is a celebration, not a day for me to cry. I just want to say thank you guys so much.”
The crowd went wild as she performed her latest hits, “Cold Blooded,” “Zoom,” and “Nunu Nana,” as the final set of songs. Jessi concluded the show with a performance of “Ssenunni.”
Jessi gave back all the love from PH Jebbies by giving the best fan service ever! She went down the stage to get closer to the audience — took selfies with the fans and gave them inspirational messages.
Overall, it was a meaningful evening for everyone, one of the best shows that both the artist and Filipino Jebbies were looking forward to that day.
