Hard work + teamwork + overflowing talent pays off a lot for BTS with the continues global success of their 2nd full-length album, “Wings”.
BTS dropped its album on October 10th, and it is still setting new records not just in Korea but worldwide!

It has recently been revealed that the group charted on YouTube Music Global Top 100 charts which feature the top videos, artists, and tracks of the week. Continuing their streak of success, BTS have now made it onto the YouTube Music Global Top 100 charts for the week of October 7 to October 13, 2016.
For the week of October 7 to October 13, 2016, BTS’ hit new song “Blood, Sweat, & Tears” has managed to debut at No. 14 on the YouTube Music Global Top 100 Tracks Chart while the MV has managed to debut at No.17 on the YouTube Music Global Top 100 Videos Chart. As for BTS themselves, the group has managed to score 6th on the YouTube Music Global Top 100 Artists chart.
BTS have made a huge splash on numerous music charts around the world ever since their comeback last week.
“Wings” topped the iTunes Top Album Chart at 1st place as soon as it was released, setting the record as the first K-Pop artists to ever place 1st with a full length album on the Top Album Chart.
The album also took every place from 1st to 15th on iTunes K-Pop Chart, deeming the event in history as “Lining Up”. Not only did BTS set records on American charts, but also in Brazil, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Sweden and more for a total of 97 countries!
The Bangtan Boys also made history as the first Korean musicians to make it to the U.K. Official Albums Charts, equivalent to the U.S. Billboard Chart in the music industry.
Some of the biggest western music channels such as Billboard, FuseTV, I Heart Radio also expressed their amazement for the idol group. BTS’ Wings just achieved the best week ever for a K-pop album and also became the first K-pop act to log three entries on the Billboard 200.
“Since their debut, BTS has stood out in the K-pop scene for tackling social and society issues in their music. Wings takes that dedication a step further by delving into the more complex issues in their young-adult lives including tackling mental health (see the sample-heavy “Am I Wrong”), taking digs at the Korean-pop idol scene (on the aggressive “2! 3!”), and even deliver a female-empowerment anthem (“21st Century Girls”), all over bombastic, hard-hitting hip-hop-heavy dance beats.” -Jeff Benjamin, Billboard
As of now, the boys are enjoying their 3rd Win For “Blood Sweat & Tears” On “Music Bank”
Congrats again Bangtan Boys! Each one of you has shown amazing growth and you’re becoming globally famous musicians through your 2nd album. We’re going to run out of congrats soon that we may need a new word for it! XD
