It’s finally the end of the decade and Filipino Black Roses were very fortunate to end it wonderfully with The Rose at their ‘We Rose You Live’ Concert in Manila, that happened last December 15, 2019 at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura.
The Rose made flowers bloom last December after finally gracing the Philippine stage after a long wait. The band performed their hit songs, “Sorry”, “I Don’t Know You”, “She’s in the Rain”, and “Red” among many others. They also covered English songs such as The Script’s “Breakeven”, The Beatles’ “Hey Jude”, as well as LANY’s “ILYSB”, with which their cover of it went viral on various social media platforms.
Their cover of ILYSB on Youtube reached 1.1M views, while the video posted by a fan on Facebook reached almost 500k views. The members of the band also did solos and a duet. Dojoon performed James Bay’s “Hold Back the River”, while Jaehyeong and Hajoon did a duet of Before You Exit’s “Soldier”. Woosung on the other hand, performed his songs “Lonely” and “face”, making the fans swoon with his performance.
Samsung Hall was filled with Black Roses that unforgettable night, that the boys of The Rose couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed and surprised by the amount of love and support they got from their Filipino fans. The members expressed their gratitude towards their fans and said that out of all the cities they visited, Manila has been the best, loudest and has the best crowd. The Rose were also amazed by the voices of PH Black Roses and said they were really good singers and have the best voices. The love PH Black Roses showed The Rose was thoroughly reciprocated by the boys.
All throughout the show, the members kept on expressing how amazed and grateful they were with their Filipino fans, even promising that they’d definitely be back to meet their fans again.
