Movie ‘The Age of Shadows’ held a production conference at CGV Apgujeong in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on August 4.
‘The Age of Shadows’ is about a heroic group trying to carry bombs from Shanghai to Kyungsung (Seoul) to blow off major facilities of Japan during the Japanese colonial era in 1920s. Song Kang Ho, Gong Yoo, Han Jimin, Uhm Tae Goo, Shin Sung Rok and others feature in it.
By director Park Chan-wook’s globally-acclaimed production “The Handmaiden” and Kim Sung-soo’s “Asura: The City of Madness” have also been invited to the Special Presentations category, which presents “high-profile premieres and the world’s leading filmmakers,” according to TIFF’s official website.
Starring actors Gong Yoo from the record-breaking blockbuster “Train to Busan” and Song Kang-ho from the award-winning 2013 film “Snowpiercer,” “The Age of Shadows” is set to open in local theaters in September.
Meanwhile, ‘The Age of Shadows’ will air in September.
