Super Junior shined in Chile!

A night full of feelings, a magnificent performance and music, that is a way even though it falls short to describe what happened in the Movistar Arena, it was again the host of an amazing show altogether with Super Junior; its redundant explain why this historical boy band is an exponent of kpop not only in Korea but all over the world, in 2005 they opened their way to success until now with songs like “Sorry Sorry” and “Mr Simple” . This week for the third time they paid a visit to Chile, two countries that are a world apart but share a music taste that gets bigger every time; and this is a special occasion because two members that couldn’t come in 2013 in their solo concert came to make the fans scream of joy.

The 8.850 spectators of the night weren’t prepared for what happened inside the arena, the show starts with a cinematic court where the member’s actor skills shined, it was interesting to see how setlist was connected with the video showed at the moment, this made people get into the atmosphere they were trying to present, an important detail was the fact that most of the speeches made were in Spanish, a bit robotized but as an interaction path with a crowd who doesn’t know Korean works perfectly, and they had their backs covered with a live translator in case the Spanish failed, from afar people could see all the guys of the group enjoyed the show with the characteristic charisma of Shindong and Heechul, the interaction with their dancers and a scenario with a triple runaway that allows the band to walk all over the arena.
Now talking about the music, we must remember they just had two more shows in the past 4 days besides the promotion of their newest song, but none of that was present when they sang amazing songs like “Shirt” and “Mamacita”.
At the moment it was being a memorable night, but as one of the most expected moments, a Latin guitar riff sound and people knew that was “Lo siento”, from the album Replay that caused fury among Latin fans due the inclusion of the Dominican singer Leslie Grace and the reggaeton producers Play-N-Skillz, who besides performing were the responsible of cheering the show before the Super Junior arrival, with a combination of the iconic Latin beat and the impeccable vocal complement of Leslie and Super Junior caused all the Movistar Arena to sing with them, especially the chorus and verse in Spanish.
After the presentation of “Lo Siento”, Leslie Grace carry the baton performing her solo songs and even a cover of an iconic singer; between applause the fans she retired from the scenario and the guys from super junior came out to perform the rest of the setlist, even though this tour is promoting their last album Replay, it didn’t lack of classics from the beginning of their career like “Miracle” and  “Sorry Sorry”. As a farewell, super junior performed while a video was shown in the screens of photos and videos of their whole careers, specially charged with the ones of their previous visits to the country.
Before the show Noix Entertainment had a surprise for the group, a visit to a vineyard with the members that couldn’t be here 5 years ago, with a good taste of the wine and the show a day before, we probably will see the group again in the country sharing their work and giving fans surely one of the best performances you can see nowadays.
This tour has an special meaning, as a 13 years old band in a really hard media industry as the korean one, its not easy to keep fresh and new, there’re always new groups trying to reach the fame though her music and the fact that super junior has been there for a long time explains by itself what their music means for the fans, exploring subgeneres and performing all over the world reminds us that Super Junior is one of the biggest groups of kpop thanks to their love for the music and as we can see the ELF´s supporting them every day.
Special thanks to Noix Entertainment.
