Family.
Life’s greatest blessing.
A group that dreams, laughs, plays, and loves together.
The most precious gift.
Those are the first few words to grace the official trailer of the Filipino-Korean movie titled Sunshine Family. The film will be starring Filipino actors Nonie Buencamino, Shamaine Centenera-Buencamino, Sue Ramirez, and Marco Masa.
To make the film more exciting, Shinwoo from K-pop boy group Blanc7 has been casted to act alongside the mentioned Filipino actors and a few more amazing Korean actors as well!
Originally based on the 1992 Japanese movie known as “The-Hit-and-Run Family”, Sunshine Family is ready to give us a rollercoaster ride of emotions by telling the story of a Filipino family who lived in South Korea. After staying there for a few years, they finally decided to go back to the Philippines. Unfortunately, their plan seems to backfire when the father got involved in a car accident – specifically a hit-and-run. Because of this, the family began to face a lot of issues within themselves and at the same time they portray how Filipino families stick together while resolving those issues.

The film was co-produced by both Spring Films and Film Line. The award-winning Korean director, Kim Tai Sik directed the movie and he was able to capture the beauty of both the Filipino and Korean cultures in one film.
