Sechskies’ member Kang Sung Hoon is reported to have signed an exclusive solo contract with YG Entertainment.
According to an insider, Kang Sung Hoon signed a solo contract back in May when Sechskies was newly signed with the agency.
Unlike members EunJi Won and Kim Jae Duk, Kang Sung Hoon made arrangements with YG Entertainment for solo activities and as a member of Sechskies.
Kang Sung Hoon (born February 22, 1980) is a vocalist formerly from the 90’s Korean pop group SechsKies.[1] Kang was the lead vocalist of SechsKies and was referred to having the best singing voice of the group.
After SechsKies had disbanded in 2000, Kang Sung Hoon pursued a solo singing career, signed under Laful Entertainment at the time.

Slight rivalry did exist when Kang released his albums at the time,the leader of SechsKies EunJi-won also released songs. Kang served military time along with Lee Jae-jin,also a SechsKies member in the year of 2006. In 2002 Dynamic Korea, he performed on stage with EunJi-Won and also with J-Walk, the duet consisting of two of former SechsKies members Kim Jae-duc and Jang Su-won. On January 22 of 2007, Kang Sung Hoon participated in a fashion show called “Han Bok” which is to raise money to build homes for others.
