SECHSKIES is back. At 12 AM on December 1, SECHSKIES released its “2016 Re-ALBUM”. The album includes ten of SECHSKIES’s biggest hit songs, such as “COUPLE”, “CHIVALRY”, “HEARTBREAK”, “COM’BACK”, “ROAD FIGHTER”, “SCHOOL BYEOLGOK”, “TO YOU WHOM I LOVE”, as well as the group’s recently released single “THREE WORDS”.
The name of the album, “2016 Re-ALBUM”, means that the tracks have been re-recorded, rearranged and remastered. Ten of SECHSKIES’s hit songs have been chosen and rearranged in a more trendy style by YG’s producer team. The melodies are familiar, but it feels like a new song.

The album is doing well. “COUPLE”, one of the title tracks of the album, topped the realtime charts as of 9 AM on December 1, demonstrating the group’s unchanged popularity.
Five members of the originally six-member act — Eun Ji-won, Lee Jae-jin, Kim Jae-duck, Kang Sung-hoon and Jang Su-won — came together for a group interview inside the headquarters of YG Entertainment in western Seoul on Thursday. Earlier that day, the K-pop band rolled out its first full-length LP “2016 Re-ALBUM” since its return from a 16-year hiatus.
