Paloalto, the 34-year-old rapper and singer and founder of Hi-lite records (G2, YunB, SWAY D, etc) released a month ago his new album “4 the youth” with the collaboration of JUSTHIS. A diverse album where we can find tracks like “Moonlight” with a more melodic beat and singing to a traditional hip-hop sound in “No reason”, and with the featuring of amazing artists like Chancellor and more artists of his label.
This new work of Paloalto and JUSTHIS is composed of 18 tracks and is a great demonstration of their abilities as rappers and singers, as I said in the introduction this album is loaded with many styles, we have truly sticky songs like “F*uck out my face” and “I like it” that even if the beat is different, you’ll be surely singing all day those two, but lets suppose you like more traditional hip-hop beats and rap, “Wayne” and “My life is so bright” will be sure you prefer ones.
There’s a facet that many people forget about Paloalto, he is quite a good singer and complements with background vocals most of the songs.
Such big album wouldn’t be complete without some featuring, and this isn’t the exception, mostly from the label where Paloalto is in the head but no limiting it was present in “4 The Youth”, we have some big names in the underground scene like G2 and Ugly Duck, I have to point out specifically “Moonlight” together with Chancellor is one of the best songs in the album in my opinion, a simple beat who works really well with the melodic chorus and a light rap.

In summary, this is a really solid album and is a quite good introduction to Paloalto if you don’t know him, a versatile artist that altogether with JUSTHIS make one of the best Khip-hop I’ve seen in a while so if you haven’t listened it go right now and surely get to know a few more artist who deserves a lot more of attention.
