On August 31, the Golden Disc Awards ‘Rookie Artist of the Year’ Nominee MCND releases a new album entitled: “The Earth: Secret Mission Chapter.1” featuring six tracks, including ‘Movin,’ ‘Cat Waltz,’ ‘Bowwowwow,’ ‘H.B.C.,’ ‘Play Pungak,’ and ‘Reason.’
Top Media’s MCND, namely, Bic, Minjae, Huijun, Win, and team leader Castle J once again showcase their talent and potential on a higher level on their new album. Indeed, these purely talented individuals never accept anything less than the best for their GEMs.
In an interview, MCND leader Castle J reveals that they spend a lot of time improving and preparing for their comeback, focusing on their particular strengths, song composition, and even acrobatics. The new album series is entirely different from their previous ones. “It’s an album series that will comprise information from the time we arrive on Earth to accomplish our duties and go to meet our GEMS,” Castle J explains. “I hope you’ll pay closer attention and focus on our perspective.”
Despite some struggles brought by the worldwide pandemic from the time of their debut, MCND still continues to create music that inspires many people, most especially, their adoring fans. In fact, their first-full English song, ‘Reason’ describes unexpected undesirable events that resemble current circumstances while expressing hope that despite the changing times, everything is going to be alright.
During the interview, he mentions “for the first time in that song, all lyrics are in English, and the message is ‘You are our reason. The reason we are doing this (singing) is because of you. It’s a song that contains ‘I’m doing this to see you.”
On a positive note, Castle J says “we can’t be disappointed and frustrated forever. For me, it is so happy to imagine a future with you, guys, embracing this situation and thinking of ways to improve.”
With certainty, the quintet continues to aspire that dreams will do come true and brighter days are yet to come for all of us. He adds, “as our team name (Music Creates New Dream), we are working hard to make new dreams through music and make them come true.”
