Launched in 2013, “Talk Talk Korea” is a global contest organized by the Korean Culture & Information Service, KBS World and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This year, there are six categories waiting for your wonderful ideas.
Show us what you think about Korea with your original content!
What is TalkTalk Korea you ask? Launched in 2013, it’s a global contest organized by KBS World and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The contest is an exciting event that lets you share your ideas and thoughts about Korea, and win cool prizes along the way — and the prizes are pretty bomb.
Six Grand Prize Winners will get the opportunity to go on an all-expense four day trip to Korea. Bundled into the trip are tickets to KBS’s Music Bank — which will give you the opportunity to see all your favorite idols up close and personal. In addition to that, the trip will include a Seoul City Tour and other exciting opportunities to explore Korea.
Even if you don’t get chosen for the Grand Prize, there are still lots of prizes to be won. TalkTalk Korea will also be giving away 100 Runner-Up Prizes, which range from laptops, digital cameras, pocket photo printers, and signed CDs by the one and only BTS (ARMY, assemble!).
Interested in entering? It’s easy! All you have to do is submit either a photograph, comic strip, video, postcard, calligraphy, or hanbok design that answers the question “What comes to mind when you think about Korea and what do you want to tell the world about Korea?”
Be creative! There are tons of categories so go wild! You’re allowed to submit entries in more than one category, and even multiple entries are allowed in the same category (but don’t submit the same thing more than once please!).
What are you waiting for?? Get out there and tell everyone how much you love Korea, and win a free trip in the process! Check out the contest page for TalkTalk Korea 2016 here.
Applications are taken until July 26, 2016, and winners will be announced on August 31.
Make sure you also check out the video for this year’s contest featuring BTS below. Not only is it super cute, but bonus points because BTS speaks English.
