2017 was a year full of amazing surprises for Kpop fans in Vietnam. Many Kpop artists came to Vietnam to join huge Kpop events held last year.
Let’s wrap up the impressive year for Kpop fans with a quick view of all events.
25 – 26 (FEST) March, MBC Kpop Plus Festival
This Kpop music festival was the beginning of a fruitful year for Kpop in Vietnam. Seventeen, EXID, Apink, LABOUM, and more performed in this event!
1 April, (PERF) Going Together Concert
NCT 127, SNSD, and Super Junior Lee Teuk came to Vietnam to join this concert with other famous Vietnamese artists!
8 April, (PERF) EXID in Korean Festival
EXID was on the spotlight on Vietnam street during the Korean festival. Snuper and Fantastick also joined and performed for the remarkable festival.
4 November, (CON) T-ara concert
This is the first time T-ara had a solo concert in Vietnam. The concert was held in Ho Chi Minh city. It was an beautiful memory for the Vietnamese Queen’s!
25 November, MAMA 2017 (Mnet Asian Music Awards)
This is the most unforgettable Kpop event in Vietnam last year. Top Korean groups and artists like WannaOne, Seventeen, and Samuel attended the opening MAMA event!
There were numerous Vietnamese fans who really bought expensive tickets to see their idols in real life.
5 December, (GOV) NCT 127 in Vietnam – Korea Economic Forum
NCT 127 and Lee Soo Man, chairman of SM Entertainment were guests of government events where one is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Korea-Vietnam diplomatic relations.

2017 is considered as one of the greatest years for Vietnamese Kpop fans because a lot of well-loved Kpop idols have visited and performed in the country again after many years.
Vietnam is said to be South Korea’s fourth trade target country and Vietnamese fans are vocal about dedicating a huge amount of their time and resources to show their love for their favorite Kpop artists.
Kpop fandoms in the country also try to support their idols as much as possible. These enthusiasm towards Kpop is the reason why many Kpop events will be held in Vietnam in future.
