Only a day after Wonho- a member of the kpop boygroup Monsta X announced his departure from the group to protect them from a further image damage, an enormous amount of support flooded the group’s fancafe and social media.
Monbebe (Monsta X’s fandom) all over the world are wishing that Wonho stays with the group. Even after the official announcement from their company was released claiming the artist’s contract has been terminated, multiple comments topped up the social medias claiming that a temporary hiatus would have hurt less the members and the fans.
Korean fans gathered in front of the building of Starship Ent leaving encouraging messages for the group and Wonho himself. A protest was planned for November 2nd 12 pm KST in order to bring attention to the ongoing issue. Meanwhile the international monbebe started a petition for his comeback, shortly after the announcement that the artist decided to leave. The petition already has already over 400, 000 people signed!
However the love and dedication doesn’t stop just there! A project for a New York’s Time Square and in a matter of hours it reached its goal. The hashtags #FightforWonho and #몬베베원호응원해 trended worldwide for more than 48 hours.
I'll do everything to bring those precious smile back
