MyDays have been anticipating Day6’s comeback since their return from the success of their second world tour, Gravity. After their tour, the members have been busy with their individual and group projects – Jae having his own weekly podcast, How Did I Get Here; Young K & Wonpil as guest DJs/hosts in some episodes of “Idol Radio” and other talk shows; releasing their individual original and cover songs; VLives and SNS posts from each member (yes, including Sungjin), and Day6 as a group currently hosting for Naver “Now” Radio.
They have been giving us these worthy content the past weeks that, in a way, helped us get through during this quarantine period. And, before the month of April ended, Day6 had dropped the trailer of their May comeback. Following the artistic concept of the first two chapters of “The Book of Us” series – “Gravity and Entropy,” “The Demon” will revolve around happiness in love with the intervention of the so-called “Demon.”
Check out the film trailer below:
“Zombie,” the title song of the latest album, is co-written and co-composed by Young K, Jae, and Wonpil. Their mini-album will also have the song’s English version. It is a track with hip-hop rhythm mixed with ballad-like chords but has a rock sound with powerful vocals, expressing the feeling of unbalance towards love.
As Young K would say, “Can we survive this demon?” Can MyDays survive this comeback? “The Book of Us: The Demon” is the third installment of “The Book of Us” series. Day6 will return with the title track Zombie on May 11, 6pm KST on all music platforms.
We are all excited to see what the Korean super band has in store for all of their fans!
