CLC is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2015. The group consists of seven members: Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn, Yeeun, Elkie and Eunbin. CLC is an initialism which stands for CrystaL Clear
The group just dropped their comeback single with an awesome music video yesterday, making this their first comeback!
CLC′s upcoming title track “Hobgoblin” is said to be an EDM trap track. The playful song talks about a female goblin that tries to gain the affection of a love interest.
The track is especially gaining attention as it was previously revealed that Hyuna, who is in the same agency as CLC, not only wrote the lyrics for the track, but has also helped with the choreography and overall performance as well.
CLC also talked about how they had prepared for the “girl crush” concept, a full turn from their previous cute and refreshing image. Other than HyunA, they studied videos of other female artists who’ve done the concept before, such as Uhm Jung Hwa and Lee Hyori.
Meanwhile, fans can see CLC′s newly transformed look through Show Champion on January 18. Their 5th mini album Crystyle officially released through variety of music sites on January 17.
