The world’s biggest K-pop group “BTS” (방탄소년단) continues to break YouTube records with their latest worldwide hit “Dynamite”.
On November 2, 2020, at approximately 1 a.m. KST, BTS’s “Dynamite” Official MV surpassed 550 million views and over 20 million likes on YouTube.
Thus, BTS’s “Dynamite” MV sets a new record as the fastest K-pop group music video to hit 550 million views.
It is also BTS’s 9th MV to surpass 550 million views, following “DNA”, “Boy With Luv”, “Fake Love”, “IDOL”, “MIC Drop”, “Fire”, “Blood Sweat & Tears” and “Dope”.
The South Korean boy group “BTS” recently made history with “Dynamite”, its first-ever English-language track. which was released on August 21, 2020. The song hit No. 1 on the “Billboard Hot 100” in September.
BTS also became the first Korean act to rank No. 1 and No. 2 on the “Billboard Hot 100” chart with two singles “Dynamite” and “Savage Love” in the same week in October.
In addition, BTS broke records with the single “Dynamite” on Genie and Melon music charts (South Korea’s largest music streaming services).
“Dynamite” set a new record for the most cumulative hours at No.1 on Genie’s real-time music chart.
On November 1, 2020, BTS’s “Dynamite” spent 53 days at No.1 on Melon’s daily chart, and officially became the song with the most days at No.1 in the history of the chart.
