BTS recently announced the launch of their new album “Wings: You Never Walk Alone”.
This album is a new and an extension of their previous hit album called ‘Wings’. After the news of the pre-sale announcement of their extension album came out, several websites crashed due to the huge pre-order received by them by the boy band fans.
The pre-order deal is set to come with a poster and mini cardboard cutouts along with the album. Fans will be receiving a mini cardboard cutout only if they pre-order the album by February 1, resulting in a fierce competition.
The high volumes of online orders placed for the album caused crashing as the server went unresponsive on several websites like Synnara Records, KPOPTOWN, and KPOPMART.
The album was reported to be sold out minutes after the extension album went on sale and multiple pre-orders were booked requiring more albums to be available for sale.
The specific concept and theme of the group’s comeback album is still unknown as there are no official teasers and details yet. BTS will release this full album on 13 February.
BTS made their debut in South Korea in 2013. Their name represents the members’ wish to stop social repression and prejudice against people in their teens and 20s and pursue their own music.
