The seven Bangtan boys; Rap Monster, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, Jin, V and Jungkook made their debut with the single, 2 COOL 4 SKOOL. After a month of their debut, the boys announced their official fan-club name.
They also explained the significant meaning behind it. A.R.M.Y is military in English, the body armor and military are always together, so it means that the fans will always be together with the Bangtan Boys’.
BTS’ Kpop group recently held their fan event called “BTS 3RD MUSTER [ARMY.ZIP+]” at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, where the group performed lived on stage and did fun activities for their fans. Each member of the ‘BTS’ group gave a message to their fans but things got a little emotional when it was Kim Tae-hyung, also known as V took his turn to say his message.
V’s grandmother raised him for 13 years and he considers her as one of his parents.
“My grandmother always liked it so much seeing me up on TV. I wanted to do something special for her on screen for this win but she was already gone by that time.” -Kim Tae-hyung
The groups fans got more emotional during the fan event as they share V’s sentiments.
This revelation from the singer has finally clarified why the group has been looking so down and just trying to keep things together before and during their comeback.
“I know this is thanks to our fan club ARMY, but I think my grandmother also played a great part, sending me her support from up above,” V said.
