Jeon Jungkook’s Mercedes-Benz, which he was driving around Hannam, Yongsan-gu in Seoul ran into a taxi after the star violated a traffic regulation on November 02, 2019.
Jungkook and the taxi driver has already received treatment for their bruises at a hospital. The star immediately apologised to the taxi driver and went ahead with Seoul police for an on-site processing.
It has been reported that the Seoul Yongsan Police Station booked Jungkook today (November 4) on the charge of violating the Road Traffic Act. The incident has been resolved and an amicable settlement was made with the victim based on due process.
BigHit Entertainment has also released an official statement regarding BTS member Jungkook’s car accident.
소속사는 “정국은 사고 직후 본인이 도로교통법을 위반했음을 인정하고 적법한 절차에 따라 현장 처리 및 경찰서 진술을 진행했으며 이후 피해자와 원만하게 합의를 완료했다”고 전했다. 이어 “피해자분께 다시 한번 사과드리며, 팬 여러분께 심려를 끼쳐드린 점에 대해서도 사과의 말씀을 드린다”고 했다.
