Not less than a week ago, global superstars, BTS released their new album, ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ and since have topped charts around the world. On February 24 (KST), The special episode of ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon’ featuring RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook was aired.
The special episode took place at the famous New York City subway, the Grand Central Terminal where the group chatted with Jimmy, played games, tried NY food specialties and performed their new single ‘ON’ for the first time.

During the quick subway chat, BTS dishes their chosen profession when not in the limelight. They also reminisce their debut performance back in 2013 where they get to perform in front of 200-300 people, stating that this still holds a special place in their hearts.
RM explained the significance of the number 7 to them, being the number of BTS members and the number of years since their debut. Their new single ‘ON’ is the reboot of their song ‘N.O’ from their album ‘O!RUL8,2?’ released in 2013. It represents how they admit their shadows, the honors and how they survive the light and dark present in the path they are going.
Jimmy Fallon then selected a few questions from ARMYs that the members can answer.
Later on, BTS and Jimmy challenged each other on the ‘Subway Olympics.’ The Golden Maknae, Jungkook ruled over everyone and emerged as champion.
Jimmy then took the boys out for lunch at the famous Katz’s Deli Pastrami Sandwiches. They also helped out in preparing food for the customers.
Finally, at the end of the show, BTS showcased their performance of ‘ON’ for the first time.
