The Pyeongchang Winter Olympics G-100 K-Pop Concert just made November 1st a whole new different night, especially for K-pop fans!

The special concert celebrating the countdown to the 2018 Winter Olympics or PyeongChang 2018 took place at the Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, South Korea. It was organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and broadcasted via the Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS).

Many of the biggest and world-famous K-pop stars gathered together at the concert. EXO, BTS, TWICE, BTOB, B.A.P, DAY6, NCT 127, WJSN, Momoland, Ulala Session, MFBTY, Trans Fixion, and Yang Hee Eun performed at the event with Girls Generation’s Im Yoon-ah as one of the show’s hosts.

Momoland performed a special “Pyeongchang” version of their song “Wonderful love.” It was a wonderful performance, both colorful and energetic.

WJSN also performed a special “Pyeongchang” version of their song “Happy.” The girls sported cute cat ears and gave an adorable, upbeat performance.

B.A.P showed a strong and charismatic performance of their songs “Honeymoon” and “Wake me up” as their official light sticks created a sea of green throughout the crowd.

Next was NCT’s sub-unit.

NCT 127 was as charming as ever with their eye-catching performance of their hit “Cherry Bomb.”

BTOB gave a beautiful performance of their song “Missing You” with their powerful and honey-like vocals. The boy also had some fun with their follow up song “I’ll be your man.”

Next was the ever alluring JYP girl-group, Twice!

The super idol group performed their newest song “Likey” with more catchy lyrics and energetic choreography. Once again, they won the hearts of fans in no time! The girls also performed their hit song, “Cheer Up” for the fans who can be seen throughout the crowd waving their light sticks and singing along to their songs.

Finally, two of South Korea’s biggest boy groups; EXO and BTS!

BTS took the stage with their latest global hit, “DNA.” The superstars hyped the audiences with their signature knife-like choreography. BTS lit up the stage even more with their powerful anthem song, “Fire” heating up the crowd despite the cold weather outside!

Last but certainly not least, EXO who got the crowd pumped up as fans passionately sang along to their hit song, “Ko Ko Bop”. EXO’s strong vocals, visuals, and amazing choreography never disappoint the audiences! The superstars powered up the stage and the crowd even more with their performance of “Power.”

It was a night full of stars and super hyped K-pop fans! The show ended with a performance of “Butterfly” as the stage was filled by the artists who performed during concert. With only 100 days away, this special G-100 K-Pop Concert officially kicked off the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics!

November 01, 2017 is the first day for the sanctification of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. It has been almost 30 years since the Olympic flame last touched the country since the 1988 Summer Olympics that was held in Seoul.

PyeongChang 2018 or the 2018 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXIII Olympic Winter Games will held on 09 Feb 2018 – 25 Feb 2018.
