On June 26, BTS dropped the official MV of their song, “Stay Gold,” which is also from their new Japanese album “Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey.”
The song’s message of never losing hope and to keep on dreaming, combined with spectacular visuals, is what makes their music video stand out. As Jungkook sang in the track’s intro, “In a world where you feel cold, You gotta stay gold.”
The MV achieved more than 50 million views on YouTube in less than three days. The song also ranked no. 1 on iTunes in 82 regions, including the US and UK. With this, BTS became the first Korean act in history to rank no. 1 in the US and UK iTunes Charts with a Japanese single. The track also topped other music platforms.
