BLACKPINK breaks YouTube’s records with their comeback pre-release single “How You Like That”

Finally, after a year and two months, BLACKPINK’s uploaded their pre-release single “How You Like That” on June 26. They dropped the MV for the song from their new first-ever full-length album which will be released in September 2020.

BLACKPINK’s powerful comeback broke YouTube records, the music video for “How You Like That” sets a record for the most viewers for a YouTube premiere with 1.66 million views, and is the most viewed YouTube music video within 24 hours with 86.3 million views. It became the fastest music video to reach 100 million views within 32 hours and 200M views in just a week after the music video was released. The song also ranked no.1 on worldwide iTunes, Melon, and Spotify.

BLACKPINK’s new full album will be released in September 2020. The album’s tracklist hasn’t been announced yet, but YG Entertainment confirmed that it will contain 10 track including “How You Like That.” The group will also release another single in July or August.

Members Rosé, Lisa, and Jiso also plan to release solo tracks following Jennie’s “Solo” in 2018, and its release date is planned to be in September after the release of their new album.
