The lovely girls of PinkFantasy say “Iriwa”, which is the Korean term for “come here”.
A girl group fresh from debut last October 24, 2018, with their title song Iriwa, PinkFantasy were bound to make their Filipino fans happy. Members Aini, Arang, SeeA, Heesun, and Harin met up with their Filipino fans for an intimate fanmeeting that occurred this May 31, 2019 on Shabushabu Ko (Unlimited Korean ShabuShabu) Pasay City Branch, Philippines.
The two members, Yechan and Yubin, were absent for the event due to health issues, but the other members assured the fans that they are currently doing well. Also, their mysterious member Daewang was not seen during the event. Maybe we will see more of her on their upcoming performance this June 2, 2019 which will be held at the Quirino Grandstand.
Fans of PinkFantasy, called luvits, gave the girls a very warm welcome and they enjoyed each other’s company during the fanmeeting. The ambiance of the event was very fun and it felt like they’ve known each other for a long time.
The fanmeeting started with some of the members showing point choreographies of their songs. For Iriwa, it was Arang who took charge of showing the dance moves; while for 12 O’ Clock, which is a song by their subunit called PinkFantasy SHY, member SeeA was glad to show the most memorable move.
The next segment was a fun Q&A wherein there were chosen fan questions that were answered by the girls.
Question 1: What do you think makes PinkFantasy different from other girl groups?
We are ready to show our performances anytime, any day!
Question 2: What are your favorite Filipino foods?
SeeA: We actually haven’t tried anything yet so we hope you will suggest to us the best ones.
(The fans suggested Balut, Adobo, Halo-halo, Sinigang, and Sisig for the member to try.)
Question 3: How do you feel now that you have visited the Philippines?
Arang: I already visited here before, that’s why I was so excited to come back!
Question 4: Now that your 1st year anniversary is just around the corner, what are your future plans?
We are incomplete right now so our first aim is for the other members to be well for us to be complete again. We are also planning to release our next album and show more performances for our fans in the future.
(They also mentioned for the fans to look forward to their performance at the Quirino Grandstand on Sunday at 9 AM)
Question 5: What was the most memorable fan gift you have ever received?
Heesun: A cake! But sadly, it accidentally fell on the floor and I felt really sorry during that time.
SeeA: Japanese fans were really cute, some of them really gave us some carrots.
Question 6: Who is your closest member?
Heesun: I choose Harin and SeeA! (They were actually both seating beside her) But really, when it comes to the closest member I think it would be Harin.
SeeA: I enjoy shopping with Arang. She’s my shopping buddy!
Arang: Harin and I love taking pictures together. We get along well when it comes to picture.
Aini: Someone I can drink alcohol with, a drinking buddy!
Question 7: What’s your favorite music/song?
Of course, PinkFantasy’s Iriwa!
SeeA: My favorite would probably be 12 O’ Clock by PinkFantasy SHY.
(SeeA and Heesun got involved in a cute bickering and they tried to best each other on which song is the best. SeeA said PinkFantasy SHY is the best, and Heesun replied with “There’s no PinkFantasy SHY without PinkFantasy!” cute)
Question 8: If you will have the opportunity to make your own song, what genre would you want it to be?
Arang: Hip-hop! SWAG!
SeeA: I love songs that are in musicals so I prefer those.
Heesun: I want hip-hop musicals!
Question 9: If you are not an idol, what d you think would your occupation be?
Heesun: Maybe, a boy group member instead!
Harin: I think Arang would have been an athlete.
Heesun: SeeA would fit as a perfect youtuber or vlogger.
Question 10: When do you plan to reveal Daewang’s real identity?
Arang (jokingly): When we get to number one on the Billboard Chart!!!
Additional Question: Any plans for a comeback?
We are planning to have our comeback in summer, probably around July. This will be a full group comeback so we are very excited!
(Get ready luvits!)
After the question and answer portion, the girls had more fun by playing a Korean syllable game. Instead of pronouncing Korean words, they were given simple Filipino phrases.
Here are the words given to each member:
Aini – Mabuhay
Arang – Maganda Ako
SeeA – Ingat Kayo
Heesun – Mahal Ko Kayo
Harin – Shabushabu Ko
As the fanmeeting was about to end, the girls of PinkFantasy were still very energetic as they continued interacting with their fans. Four fans were picked and they were given signed albums handed by PinkFantasy themselves, and each fan had the chance to talk to them (also hightouch) during the fansigning.
Each of them gave their last messages to the Filipino luvits and ended the fanmeeting with a group photo.
Overall, the experience is very memorable for all the fans. They expressed their love and support for the girls, and they even showed them how ecstatic they are on their first ever visit as a group to the Philippines.
If you still haven’t gotten enough of PinkFantasy, check them out on June 2, 2019 at the Quirino Grandstand and have your own taste of Wonderland.
